Q&A: Ideas for lighting in an office with no windows?

Question by l h: Ideas for lighting in an office with no windows?
My husband and I are renting an office space for our web design company. We want it to have a very modern look and feel.

There are no windows because it is an interior office and the carpet is maroon so it is pretty dark inside. I want it to be bright like a modern office. Any ideas?

Yes, tract lighting is the way to go. Large artwork that contains a geometric design & a bit of maroon will catch the eye’s attention. Keep your work tops light in color. if you can handle it, consider glass top tables on chrome bases for desks. Guest & client chairs, comfortable & upholster in a maroon & another color in plaid or stripe .

You might consider an area rug on top of the carpet in a grey color, too!

Good luck with your new business space!
